Training Car Hybrid Technology with E-Learning

This training system consists of the training vehicle and the corresponding e-learning companion course. The practice course modules deepen and complement the theory modules in a unique way.

With this training system the previously acquired knowledge, skills and abilities on the subject of "Electrical High-Voltage-drive" are practiced and tested in practice through work orders. By using the break-out box for the power control module (PCM), the break-out box for the High-Voltage battery and other measurement points the students walk through the measurement tasks independently. The vehicle is prepared with 10 well described and practically relevant errors. As an exercise for the safe handling of High-Voltage-Vehicles a guided troubleshooting is integrated.

Note that it is assumed in the work orders that the instructor is certified as an expert for "handling of live equipment" (in the sense of BG 8686) and able to monitor all steps of the trainees. The responsibility for the use of this training system is in all cases at the educational institution and the course leader. In the vehicle emergency stop switches are installed, with which all live parts of the high voltage system can be de-energized. All the high-voltage measuring points have a reduced voltage by the factor of 10:1.
